Day of silence for Japan

18 Mar

I am proud to join over 1,110 bloggers who will not be posting on Friday as part of the Day of Silence for Japan.

I encourage everyone to contribute to emergency shelter relief for the disaster-stricken people of Japan who are suffering through catastrophe after catastrophe after catastrophe this month with the devastating earthquake, tsunami and the threat of a nuclear crisis. And now it’s snowing and people are struggling to survive dropping temperatures with no shelter.

The donation money will help provide necessities like tents, blankets, water purification tools, cooking utensils, etc.

As of Thursday night, the initiative has raised $22,000!!! We can do more.

Visit http://www.forjapanwithlove.com please and make a donation that will go to Shelterbox.
